This stack layered fused glass artwork was created using hundreds of glass pieces compressed and high temperature kiln fired twice. Dark green swirls add patterns between layers of spring green, dark green, and gold green to create the leaf. Black powdered linework add outlines and inner patterns. Varying chips of light opaque blue, blue, and black combine to a wavy, watery background. This fused glass artwork was created with a fiber reversal method with embossed areas of the lotus and leaf.
