#1199 Compression 11
$1,590
14” x ¼” 3.6lbs. Intense heat colors within the circular design moves the viewer, journeying into a deep perspective.
My “Compression” series is a foray into experimentation with transparent and opaque fusing glass. The integration of differing colors, sizes, thicknesses, shapes, and opacity are merged under heat and pressure into a unique visual pattern. |

#1232 Compression 40$ 1,490
14” x ¼” 3.6 lbs. Intense color bands border deep stacked squares within the fused glass circle base design. This technique creates a physical movement, compressing and shifting colors and perspective.

#1239 Compression 46$1,590
16” x 1/4” 5.2 lbs. Black line work diffuse and form bubble patterns above an abstract geometric base design within the circle final shape. My “Compression” series is a foray into experimentation with transparent and opaque fusing glass. The integration of differing colors, sizes, thicknesses, shapes, and opacity are merged under heat and pressure into a unique visual pattern.

#1241 Eclipse$1,590
16 ¼” x 1/4” 6 lbs. Amid aqua blue base squares, form shifts of colors into unique flow patterns. Each layered stack of graduated squares compress, and reform under border tensions. Thin black gridded stringers disperse separated lines of randomness. Influenced by the merging of their positions chemical color reactions occur.

#1244 Why Patterns$1,590
14" x 3/16" 3.4 lbs. Nature and strict abstract squares merge within the circle. Tiny fusing glass pieces form “Y”’s over varying transparent colors in the base grid design. Nature inspired patterns flow on the smooth top layered surface.

#1248 Zig Zag Diversions$1,490
14” x 14” x 1/4” 4.2 lbs. Diagonally across the corner, blues and yellow bands move in a zig zag pattern. Rows of iridescent squares rhythmically flow down, captured by the square base of this fused glass artwork.

#1251 Compression 50 $1,590
15 7/8” x ¼” 4.2 lbs. Within the focused square grid, fine black lines meander over intense warm colors. This artwork incorporates differences of glass flow between stacked layered strips and their effects with gridded thin stringers. Surface convex squares are formed under high temperature firings of this fused glass artwork.

#1263 Heat$1,490
14 ¼” x 14 1/8” x ¼” 4.2 lbs. Sulphur and copper chemical reactions intensify, shifting colors within the corner quadrants design. Criss-crossing strips of colors deepen from opaque yellows at the edges to oranges, and then reds focusing into the center. Higher temperatures and compression squeeze this variable height fused glass composition of hundreds of tiny pieces, moving perspectives outwards.
|
|
#1267 Separation$1,490
13 ¾” x ¼” 3.8 lbs. At compass directional points green and purple bands step to a focal point. The four outer corner quadrant area’s colors are stacked with different sized colors blending, shifting, and merge together. This fused glass artwork has been formed with hundreds of tiny pieces of varying sizes, shapes, and stacks kiln fired under compression.

|
#1270 Crossed Roads $1,490
14” x 14 1/8” x ¼” 5.4 lbs. Criss crossing stacked, layered strips of blues, purple, and yellow form disjointed bands. Rows of thin strips break through and randomize the design.

|
#1274 One Day$1,590
16 ¾” x ¼” 5 lbs. At compass directional points yellow, blue, purple, and green color bands step to a focal center. These colors stay isolated with border walls of white. The four outer corner quadrant area’s colors are stacked with different sized colors blending, shifting, and merge together. This fused glass artwork has been formed with hundreds of tiny pieces of varying sizes, shapes, and stacks kiln fired under compression.
